Thailand after the flood - Bob Herrera-Lim | The Call

An interesting post regarding the floods and Thailand and their potential political impact.

  1. Well tourism has gone down. But politically...well if the government can't react that quickly to resolve the problem then they will lose influence with their people and of course they will lose economic revenue during this rebuilding period.

  2. Damaging floods in Southeast Asia in general have been a growing trend over the years. Normally there is always a rainy season every year but I am not sure the increasing damage is because of the result of climate change or a lack of preparation by the government.
