Welcome to GOV 4993 Spring 2017
Hello, and welcome to the Spring 2017 edition of the blog for St. John's University's Senior Seminar in Comparative Politics. The Senior Seminar is a required capstone course for undergraduate students completing their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics. This particular version of the seminar is generally focused on comparative politics. Additionally, the students are encouraged to incorporate attention to issues regarding refugees and mass migration into their semester research. This additional focus is designed to facilitate participation in the Jesuit University Humanitarian Action Network Student Leadership Conference which will be hosted by College of the Holy Cross in Worcestesr, Massachusetts from June 27th to the 29th.
